What this site is

The Bastrop Passport is a free local guide run by Lost Pines Local. We do our best to keep hours, dates, prices, and trail conditions accurate, but businesses change and rivers rise. Confirm the details that matter with the business or park before you make the drive.

Listings

Getting listed is free. We decide what appears in the guide and we may edit or remove a listing at any time, especially when information goes stale or a business closes. Being listed does not mean we endorse a business. Some placements on the site may be sponsored or promoted, and where they are, we will mark them.

What you send us

When you submit a photo or text through our forms, you confirm that you own it or have the right to share it, and you give us permission to display it on the site and in our emails. You keep ownership. If you want something taken down, email us and we will remove it.

Outdoors

Trail distances and difficulty come from official park sources where they exist. Conditions change with weather and seasons. You are responsible for your own safety out there, so bring water and check conditions before you go.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from The Bastrop Passport (our weekly text program), about one message a week. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, or HELP for help. For help you can also email howdy@bastroppassport.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your number; we never sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

The unavoidable part

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Lost Pines Local is not liable for losses that come from using the site or from relying on information in it. If something here is wrong and it matters, tell us at howdy@bastroppassport.com and we will fix it.
